Rune Temte


From the ultimate Viking warlord "UBBA" in "The Last Kingdom" to a no-nonsense Norwegian Coach in "Eddie the Eagle" Rune Temte has made a strong impression by playing rogues, villains and all-around bad asses, often with a twinkle in the Eye. A natural at portraying complex charismatic heavies, the classically trained actor was born in Solbergelva in the outskirts of Oslo, Norway. Rune played professional football for Strømgodset Football Club before choosing to pursue his first love of acting. Rune trained at the Drama Studio, London (1993-1994) and has played Hamlet, Oberon and a great many other parts for stage and screen. Rune is best known for his work in BBC Two's successful drama series _"The Last Kingdom" (2015)_(Ubba), a fierce performance that earned him recognition worldwide. Most recently Rune can be seen in the international blockbuster _Eddie the Eagle (2016)_ (Bjørn) and will soon return to our screens for the second series of Sky Atlantic's popular TV series _"Fortitude" (2015)_ ( (Lars Ulvenaune).
