The amazing actress Tessa Lynne Thompson was born on October 3, 1983, in Los Angeles, California, in the United States. She was raised by her parents Marc Anthony and her mother in Los Angeles before she moved to Brooklyn in New York. Tessa is of mixed ethnic origin, her father is of Afro-Panamanian descent while her mother is of Euro-Mexican descent and she holds American nationality. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School where she featured in numerous theatre productions of the school and after her graduation; she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she obtained a degree in cultural anthropology.
